"I've been guided from Texas to British Columbia for redfish to West Slope cutthroat, and from Labrador to the Caribbean for brook trout to bonefish and I haven't fished with a better guide than Justin. Justin guided me on my first fly fishing for muskies outing today. The morning's fishing exceeded all my expectations. As everyone knows the muskie is nicknamed "The Fish of 10,000 Casts". Justin got me into my first muskie with a lot fewer casts than that! In fact in about five hours of fishing, I hooked eight muskies and landed four. Justin is a great teacher and I learned a lot about leaders, locating the fish, presenting the fly to them and hooking and landing them. Not only is he a good teacher, he's a real pleasure to be on the water with. He also ties some REALLY durable flies. I highly recommend Justin. You won't be disappointed"

“I had a good day and a half of fishing with Justin. I have done a lot of trips with guides in the U.S. and Canada, and he is up on top of my list! You will be with someone that loves his work on the water. Go fishing with him, you will be with a man that will give you his all, and you will have a new friend! Fish on!!”

“Despite the fact that the temperature was hovering around 25 degrees the
morning that Justin took me out, we didn't really have time to notice. Between
the two of us, we managed to land around 30 or so fish, all very beautiful and
good fighters with some size behind them. We had fish on from the first cast to
the last. The only reason we had to leave was because I had to be back in the
Twin Cities for work that afternoon. I will be recommending Justin to anyone who
asks me about fishing in the Minnesota and Wisconsin areas. He is very patient
and passionate about his craft, and expresses that to anyone he teaches along
the river. I am even sure he got just as much joy as I did when I landed my
first Wisconsin Brown on the fly.”

“Fishing with Justin Netzer is an experience like no other. His uncanny ability to find fish even in the most obtrusive conditions is amazing. He is a man made for fly fishing, guiding and teaching and his knowledge is matched only by his skill and his easy going nature throughout the waters of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Whether it is steelhead, musky or trout–the Urban Bonefisher is a guide to have in your Rolodex the next time you decide to leave the office and spend a day on the water.”

“I had a great time fishing with Justin. He is a very patient teacher
who took time to help me learn a new technique. Justin's energy helped
turn a cold rainy day into a productive fishing day. I highly recommend
Justin as your next fishing guide.”

“Over the years I've fished around the world with many guides. Justin Netzer is one of the best. He is technically expert, and a patient and effective communicator. Congenial and enthusiastic, Justin brings with him a love of the sport we care so much about. I can't recommend him more highly! Also, Justin has the absolute cleanest guide vehicle I've ever been in. Ever.”

“My 14 year old son was treated to a full day of musky fishing in the Metro area with the Urban Bone Fisher. They had a banner day hauling in many large muskies. Justin not only proved to be an outstanding guide but was a great mentor, teacher and friend to a young “up and coming” musky angler. The Urban Bone Fisher experience was a good lesson in patience, skill and fun to a young angler who will remember this day on the lake for the rest of his life.”

“I was in the Twin Cities for a wedding and was lucky
enough to be able to book Justin for a day of fishing
on the Kinnikinnic. His knowledge of the hatch and
proper technique for the water was excellent, I was
into fish after about 3 casts. We were out for a full
day and there was never a lull in the action. We
caught plenty of brown trout that were all incredibly
healthy and feisty on the fight. I would definitely
book Justin for another day out if in the Cities
again.”

“I was in town for business and booked a trip with Justin to go muskie fishing. I have fished across the United States with a number of different guides and different situations and I would rank Justin up there with the best. He did a great job of putting me on fish and was very responsive to what I wanted to accomplish on my trip. He works very hard and is a pleasure to spend the day with. I plan on calling him every time I return to Minnesota and have referred him to my friends and co-workers.”

“It’s always big fish time when you’re fishing with the Urban Bone Fisher. I have caught both my largest Steelhead and Musky fishing with Justin, and both were on the fly rod. He knows how to catch big fish and he knows where to find them.”

“I met Justin in the spring while attempting to fish the tribs in southeast
wisconsin. I believe I was casting aimlessly not quite sure what to do, when I
saw the Urban Bone Fisher battling a steelhead that was charging down a riffle
towards me. I offered to net the steelhead, hoping to see what was on the end
of his tippet. After the fish was netted, photographed, and released, I asked
the Urban Bone Fisher for his expertise. Justin took the time to guide me in
the right direction. Within no time he had me into fish. I then witnessed the
largest steelhead to date that I have seen caught on a fly rod. Been ripping
lips on the tribs ever since. That next Summer I was going to be in the
Minnesota area, so gave the Urban Bone Fisher a call. I knew that I had some
time to kill, and there's no better way to kill time than with a fly rod in
hand. I had Justin guide me on the Kinni, a stream I had read about and always
wanted to fish. After about 15 minutes, a quick lesson on nymphing, and 3 fly
patterns later, Justin had me slaying the fish. I wish I would have kept
count, but that is not the reason I fish. A beautiful day on the river,
beautiful browns, and an 18 incher to boot. Justin is a patient instructor who
knows how to find fish, find big fish, and knows what it takes to get them on
the fly.”
